Apple Seeds Mac OS X 10.6.5
Apple sent out a new version of Mac OS X 10.6.5 (Build 10H562) to developers last week, which comes only one week after the last build was disseminated. The latest build continues to have no documented issues and Apple asked developers to focus on testing 3D Graphics, QuickTime, Time Machine, printing, and USB devices. It looks like Apple has been putting on the final touches on a public release in support of iOS 4.2 when it comes out next month.
Analysts See Huge Predictions for MacBook Air
A Chinese analyst is predicting big things for the new line of MacBook Air notebooks, saying that Apple will hit 700,000 unit sales for the quarter. It’s believed that the release of Mac OS X Lion will also boost sales and could be seen as a second machine for many different Mac users.
All New Macs to be Adobe Flash-Free
In a continuing war between Apple and Adobe, it’s been announced that Apple’s new line will ship without support for Adobe’s Flash plug-in pre-installed. This requires users to install the software manually if they wish to view Flash content. Apple spokesman Bill Evans said that the company is transitioning all of its Macs to ship without the Flash plug-in pre-installed.

AT&T has managed to pull head-to-head with the number of Verizon subscribers thanks to its ability to offer the iPhone exclusively in the United States.
