Charlotte Van Brabander
Charlotte Van Brabander was born in Aalter, Belgium, on December 1, 1989. Charlotte is a poker player and a growing name in the circuit. Her dream is to win the World Series of Poker main event, but will settle for another major title win. Charlotte has a bit of a different start to the game of poker, as she comes from the professional gaming circuit. She was part of an all girls team who made the finals of the ESWC, the Electronic Sports World Cup.
When it comes to poker, Charlotte borrows from her gaming experience by being a very analytical player, constantly sizing up her opponents and looking for tells that can give away their hands. And low and behold, she’s pretty darn good at it. Judging from the amount of WSOP events she has entered, she is definitely hungry to win a bracelet. That comes from her gaming background as well, as competitive video gaming is no joke – in fact, it’s pretty hardcore. It takes a special type of mind to be able to compete on that kind of professional level and it also takes something else; dedication. That same dedication can also be the ticket for Charlotte to become an amazing poker player, possibly even top tier. The fact that she is still so young is pretty unbelievable, being only 24 years old at the time of this writing.
