Tatjana Pasalic
Here is the poker player profile of Tatjana Pasalic, a beautiful woman and of course, poker enthusiast. Tatjana has gained quite a bit of fame as a Croatian poker host, blogger, and TV presenter. She is well known both in her home country as well as in North America, covering many different shows in her acclaimed career. She grew up in Zagreb, Croatia but moved to Denmark when she was 19 where she instantly fell in love with online poker.
After a short stint as country manager for an online poker room, Pasalic started her poker blogging career by visiting the EPT in Monte Carlo, where she followed all sorts of pros and of course the tournament action. Right away it was clear that Tatjana was a natural at it, and things took off from there. Seeing that the poker boom had finally reached the former Yugoslavia, she quit her job and went out on her own as a poker freelance journalist, becoming the first ever Croatian to do so. She had to invest her own money to travel to the different events, starting with the Malta Poker Tour followed by the WSOP. She has also made appearances as a journalist at the European Poker Tour, the WSOP Europe and many local events. She specializes in blog entries, news, updates, and exclusive player interviews, the latter of which has garnered the most attention for her site and forums. Her constant effort at quality poker journalism has gotten her thousands upon thousands of readers and subscribers.
Pasalic was offered a job in 2009 from Unibet Poker who really wanted her Croatian language blogs and videos on their website. She gladly accepted and started co-hosting with Marko Butrakovic which essentially culminated in the poker boom being set off in Croatia. This development was obviously very profitable for Pasalic who was instantly branded as the face of poker for the entire country. There is no telling what heights she will reach as the work ethic and intelligence of Tatjana is somewhat unparalleled. Keep a close eye out, you might see her wondering around the next big event, microphone in hand!
